The conference sets out to determine water's key role in the future of sustainable economic growth. Wide range of progressive and stimulating sessions. Formats include inspirational Plenary Talks, Plant Visits, Dedicated Networking Roundtables, Break-out Sessions and Workshops.

Some topics will be highlighted at the conference:- Current water scenario, Desalination technologies, Water recycle and purification, Non-conventional and nuclear energy based desalination, Infrastructure and environmental aspects for desalination processes, Make in India - Challenges and way to go ahead, Techno-economics of desalination and many more.

Indian Desalination Association was established at Chennai in 1991 with a view to bring in awareness about the desalination technologies which had the potential to address many of the water related issues in India. It started with one corporate member and ten annual members. Due to operational reasons the headquarters was shifted to Mumbai in 1995. Having grown in strength from one corporate and few annual members to more than 45 corporate and 375 life members in the last twenty five years, it is appropriate that we make the silver Jubilee year 2015-2016, more eventful towards achieving its societal goal.

The InDA was originally established as an affiliate of International Desalination Association essentially to bring in awareness about desalination by dissemination of knowledge and encouraging the adoption of desalination technologies. However, over a period of time the goals were enlarged to address the entire gamut of issues associated with Integrated Water Management encompassing water conservation, water recycling, water management, water use efficiency besides desalination. InDA provides an interface for the interaction of persons associated with various aspects of Desalination and Water treatment ranging from policy makers, users, suppliers of plants and equipments and research and development through their annual conferences and workshop.
