Hyderabad all set to become India’s first city to fully treat its sewage

As part of its efforts to achieve a better rank in the next edition of Swachh Survekshan, the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) has formulated an action plan to revive sewage treatment plants to reduce carbon emissions under its ambit. Centre okays INR 229cr Shimla sewer project

The central government has approved a Rs 229 crore sewage treatment project for Shimla. The project will be completed by the year 2025 and cater the population of the hill town for the next 30 years.
