Participation in the EAWATER Global Sustainability & Innovation Awards 2026 (\u201cAwards\u201d) constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions (\u201cT&C\u201d). These T&C are legally binding and apply to all applicants, nominees, finalists and winners.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

1. ORGANISER<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Awards are organized and administered by Earth Water Foundation (\u201cEAWATER\u201d \/ \u201cOrganizer\u201d),<\/strong> including its affiliates, partners, and authorized agencies.<\/p>

EAWATER reserves the right to interpret, amend, modify or withdraw the Awards or these T&C at any stage without prior notice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

2. ELIGIBILITY<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2.1)<\/strong> The Awards are open to: – Government bodies, Utilities and Public Authorities – Corporates, Industries, MSMEs and start-ups – Technology Providers and Solution developers – Academic Institutions and Research Organizations – NGOs, Community Organizations and Social Enterprises – Individuals, Professionals and Researchers<\/p>

2.2)<\/strong> Applicants must have legally valid existence and operations in their respective jurisdictions.<\/p>

2.3)<\/strong> Entities or individuals directly associated with Jury Members, Organizers or Evaluation Agencies are not eligible to participate in the same award cycle.<\/p>

2.4)<\/strong> Submission of an entry does not guarantee shortlisting or selection.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

3. ENTRY SUBMISSION<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3.1)\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 All entries must be submitted through the official Awards process, in the prescribed format, within the announced timelines.

3.2)<\/strong>\u00a0 Submissions must be in English.

3.3)\u00a0<\/strong> Applicants may submit entries in multiple categories, subject to payment of applicable entry fees.

3.4)\u00a0<\/strong> Incomplete, late, unverifiable or misleading submissions may be rejected without notice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

4. ACCURACY, WARRANTIES & REPRESENTATIONS<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4.1)<\/strong> The applicant warrants that: – All information, data, claims and documents submitted are true, accurate, complete and not misleading. – The applicant has full rights, authority and permissions to submit the material. – Submitted content does not infringe any intellectual property, confidentiality or contractual rights of any third party.

4.2)<\/strong> The applicant shall be solely responsible for any claims, disputes, losses or liabilities arising from false, inaccurate or misleading submissions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

5. USE OF SUBMITTED MATERIAL & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

5.1)\u00a0<\/strong> By submitting an entry, the applicant grants EAWATER a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license to: – Use, reproduce, publish, adapt, and display submitted content – Promote award-winning and shortlisted work across print, digital, social media, events, reports and partner platforms.

5.2)\u00a0<\/strong> Intellectual property ownership of the submitted work remains with the applicant.

5.3)<\/strong> Confidential or proprietary information must be clearly marked. EAWATER will take reasonable steps to protect such information but does not guarantee absolute confidentiality.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

6. JURY PROCESS & DECISION<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

6.1)<\/strong> The jury shall comprise independent experts from Government, Industry, academia and the Water & Sustainability ecosystem.

6.2)<\/strong> The jury reserves the right to: – Re-categorise entries – Shortlist, merge or withhold awards in any category – Seek clarifications or additional information

6.3)<\/strong> Jury decisions are final, binding and non-negotiable. No correspondence, explanation or appeal shall be entertained.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

7.1)\u00a0<\/strong> Entry fees (where applicable) must be paid in full before evaluation.

7.2)\u00a0<\/strong> All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, irrespective of outcome.

7.3)<\/strong> Taxes, levies or statutory duties (if applicable) shall be borne by the applicant.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

8. AWARDS, TROPHIES & CEREMONY<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

8.1)\u00a0<\/strong> Award winners will receive a trophy and\/or citation as determined by EAWATER.

8.2)<\/strong> Winners or their Authorized representatives are expected to attend the Award Ceremony at their own cost.

8.3)<\/strong> EAWATER is not responsible for travel, accommodation, visa, or related expenses.

8.4)<\/strong>\u00a0Failure to attend the ceremony does not invalidate the award but may affect publicity or recognition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

9.1)\u00a0<\/strong> Winners and finalists agree to participate in reasonable promotional and media activities related to the Awards.

9.2)<\/strong>\u00a0EAWATER may use names, logos, photographs, videos and project details for publicity without additional consent or compensation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

EAWATER reserves the right to disqualify any entry at any stage if: – Information is found to be false or misleading – There is evidence of plagiarism, data manipulation, or unethical conduct – Attempts are made to influence jury members – There is violation of these T&C.

Disqualification may occur even after announcement of results.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

11.1)<\/strong> EAWATER shall not be liable for: – Any direct or indirect loss, damage, or expense arising from participation – Technical failures, data loss, or submission errors – Cancellation, postponement, or modification of the Awards due to force majeure

11.2)<\/strong> Maximum liability, if any, shall be limited to the entry fee paid.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless EAWATER, its directors, employees, partners, and jury members against any claims, losses, damages, or legal costs arising from: – Breach of these T&C – Third-party claims relating to submitted content – Violation of laws or regulations<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
