The central government has approved a Rs 229 crore sewage treatment project for Shimla. The project will be completed by the year 2025 and cater the population of the hill town for the next 30 years. Indian Oil to spend ₹2 lakh crore towards zero emissions by 2046

State-owned oil refining and marketing major Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) plans to invest ₹2 lakh crore in the coming years to achieve ‘net zero’ operational emissions by 2046.
