Greater Noida Authority Increases Ganga Water Supply To Cover More Areas

The Greater Noida authority has expanded Ganga water supply to 52 of 58 sectors, with six sectors still awaiting connection: Eta 2, Techzone (Mursafabad), Xu 3, Sector 2, Sector 4, and Sector 16C. The supply has also reached 67 of 122 villages under its jurisdiction. Currently, the authority is supplying 374MLD against a demand of 339MLD, with 100MLD coming from Ganga water mixed with groundwater. Greater Noida Authority to build 5 Sewage Treatment Plants

The Greater Noida Authority has approved the construction of five sewage treatment plants (STPs) to enhance wastewater management and recycling for irrigation purposes. Among these, a `40 crore estimate for a 12 MLD STP in Sector IT City received in-principle approval from CEO Ravi Kumar NG after IIT Delhi endorsed the detailed project report.
